We are overjoyed you could be here to celebrate with us! For those traveling from outside the city, and especially those traveling from outside of Brazil, we have a few tips and recommendations.

Arrive and Departing São Paulo

São Paulo metro area has two main international airports, Guarulhos (GRU) and Campinas (VCP), and one main domestic airport Congonhas (CGH). If you are arriving into São Paulo from outside of Brazil, we recommend Guarulhos - it is much closer than Campinas (which is nearly 100km from the city center). If you are arriving from, or transiting through, another city in Brazil, Congonhas is a great choice - it is a smaller airport, but its central location makes it the most convenient.

Getting Around

Like other large cities, traffic in São Paulo can be a challenge, especially during rush hours. That being said, Uber or Taxis are the most convenient and secure way to get around, just be sure to plan ahead (during rush hours, it can take two or more hours to traverse the city by car). For public transportation, the city boasts an excellent metro and bus system. Given it is often a faster option than car, it is the preferred method for most Paulistas.

Where to Stay

The wedding venue will be in the southern part of the city but there are a diverse range of neighborhood with lots of different things to see and do, so we have a few recommendations based on your preferences:

Moema, Ibirapuera, Vila Olimpia, and Itaim Bibi -- Great neighborhoods, centrally located.

Brooklin -- Southerly located so close to the wedding venue, but more quiet than the central and northern neighborhoods.

Paulista -- Very popular area with iconic architecture, Michelin star restaurants, and tons of shopping.

Pinheiros -- Artsy area with vibrant nightlife, tons of live music venues, craft bars and restaurants.

Wedding Day Logistics

For those taking Uber or Taxi, please plan ahead as there will likely be heavy traffic from 4 - 8pm, especially if you will be coming from Paulista, Pinheiros, or other northern neighborhoods.
